FROM CRAFTSMANSHIP TO BRAND

German family business with Italian roots:

Pasta has been a lifelong passion for the Giacobbe pizza-baking family for generations. Born in Italy and later emigrating to Bitburg, the brothers Litterio and Rocco crafted their first lasagnas in the 1980s in Bitburg, Eifel, carefully by hand and following traditional recipes.

1993 wurde aus dem handwerklichen Projekt ein Unternehmen: Rainer Nels, der deutsche Schwager der Brüder, gründete die Giacobbe Pasta GmbH und legte somit den Grundstein für unseren heutigen Betrieb. Zur Pasta-Passion gesellte sich seine Begeisterung für Technik, Effizienz und Innovation. Eine Paarung, die bis heute unsere Erfolgsgeschichte prägt.


In 1997, the company relocated to its current location on Daimlerstraße in Bitburg. Since then, production has steadily expanded, the product range has grown, and processes have been modernized—all with a clear focus on quality, reliability, and progress.

At the end of 2023, after more than 30 years of active management, Rainer Nels passed the leadership to Jakob Hübinger, who has been part of the company for many years and understands our philosophy as well as our customers’ needs. With his experience and a clear vision for continuous growth and sustainability, he now leads Giacobbe Pasta GmbH into the future.

With the same passion that the Giacobbe family once used to delight their guests, we now prepare high-quality frozen convenience pasta dishes using traditional recipes and classic cooking methods.
